Deborah “Debbie” Hopper, 61 of Clay, KY passed away Monday, February 20, 2017 at her residence.

She was member at First General Baptist Church in Clay, KY.

She worked at Clay Elementary School for 17 years.

Her and her husband owned and operated Hop’s Deli in Clay, KY.

Survivors include her husband of 33 years Mark Hopper of Clay, KY 1 Daughter Chanda Black 1 Son Brad Hopper both of Clay, KY 2 Sisters Roxanne Dennis of Greenville, KY and Joy Watson of Lexington, KY 5 Brothers Marty Gardner of Huntsville, Alabama Geoff Saylers of Evansville, IN Wally Saylers of Earlington, KY Chris Gardner of Arizona and David Gardner of Hinesville, Georgia.

Funeral services will be Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 1:00 PM at First General Baptist Church in Clay, KY with Bro. Mike Putman and Bro. Johnnie Hibbs officiating.  Burial will be in New Hopewell Cemetery in Clay, KY.  Visitation will be Wednesday, February 22, 2017 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at First General Baptist Church in Clay and on Thursday 9:00 AM til service time at the church.  Vanover Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
