Darrel Wayne Gibson

Darrel Wayne Gibson, 76 of Clay passed away Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson.

Darrel was born in Clay on March 15, 1947 to the late Jeff and Katie Gibson.

He was a heavy equipment operator, along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Barbara in 2001.

Survivors include 2 daughters Tabatha Clark of Dixon and Amanda Tudor (Jonathon) of Clay, 1 son Bobby Gibson (Stephanie) of Clay, 1 sister Carolyn Ashby of Clay, 7  grandchildren Kymberly Hatchett (Andrew), Kristina Farmer (Justin), Justin Clark, Rebecca Tudor, Kourtney Gibson, Ashley Tudor, Hunter Tudor, 6 great-grandchildren Kynlyn Hatchett, Abby Farmer, Josiah Clark, Emma Clark, Gracie Clark and Alannah Martin.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Oakley officiating.  Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday, February 12, 2024 4:00 PM till 8:00 PM and Tuesday 8:00 AM till service time at the funeral home.
