Amanda Beth Perkins, 42, of Greenville, KY passed away Monday, September 12, 2016 at her home. She was of the Baptist faith.  Amanda graduated from Webster County High School in 1991.   She graduated from the University of Kentucky and also graduated from University of Kentucky Law School in 1998.  She was a State Public Defender. She loved UK basketball and was an avid fan of the UK Wildcats. She was preceded in death by her brother Jason Perkins and her grandparents Bill and Cel Perkins and Teena Campbell. Survivors include her parents Alan and Jana Perkins of Providence, KY 1 niece Claudia Perkins and 1 nephew Remington Perkins both of Manchester, KY, a very special niece Caitlin Toone of Providence, KY and a favorite aunt Karen Perkins of Providence, KY and a host of other aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial service will be Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 5:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay, KY with Bro. Barry Cullen officiating.  Visitation will be Thursday from 2:00 PM til service time at the funeral home.
