Anne Tandy Thorp, 89 of Madisonville, KY passed away at her home on September 2, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones.

Anne was born on August 24, 1935 to Edgar and Lorine Tandy of Webster County.  In 1978, Anne married her soulmate and love of her life Mike.  They shared 45 amazing years together.  Anne was the beloved mother of two children, Tammy and Keith.  She was the cherished grandmother of Michelle and Stacey.  Anne was also blessed to have a great-grandson, Ethan.  She was always grateful to spend time with her great-great- grandson Ashton.

Anne enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and making a variety of crafts in her spare time.  She loved the Lord and was a member of Rose Creek Church.  Anne was fortunate to have many friends and family.  She had two loving caregivers, Linda Bruce and Kathy Graham, who assisted her in her home during the final year of her life.

Anne is survived by her husband Mike, daughter Tammy Price (Kirby) of Dixon, son Keith Taylor of Lexington, granddaughters Michelle Conner (Jeremiah) of Denver and Stacey Holladay (Christian) of Lexington, great-grandson Ethan Quisenberry of Denver.  She was preceded in death by her parents Edgar and Lorine Tandy, brother Edgar Tandy, Jr., and great-great-grandson Ashton Thorp Quisenberry.

Graveside services will be Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 2:00 PM at New Clay Cemetery in Clay with Brother Billy Parrish and Brother Greg Cain officiating.

Visitation will be Thursday at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay 10:00 AM till 1:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Memorials Processing, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude PL, Memphis, TN 38105-9959. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
