Barbara Ann Cardwell

Barbara Ann Cardwell, 93 of Clay passed away Thursday, August 13, 2026 at Redbanks Colonial Terrace in Sebree.

Barbara was born on February 7, 1933 in Boxville to the late Clive and Ellarena McKeehan.

She was a lifelong member of Diamond Baptist Church.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Billy (Bill) Cardwell and 2 brothers Harold McKeehan and Don McKeehan.

Survivors include 1 daughter Terena Nicole Cardwell of Albania; 3 sons Michael Cardwell (Rita), Mark Cardwell (Bonnie) all of Clay, Ronnie Cardwell (Teresa) of Madisonville; sister Mary Hardin of Canton North Carolina; brother Mickey McKeehan of Brigham City Utah; 7 grandchildren Amber Clayton, Seth Cardwell, Shea Cardwell, Tabitha Cardwell, Tara Fairchild, Joe McBride, Tanis Rose; 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Sunday, August 16, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home with Brother Ralph Alexander officiating. Burial will be in New Clay Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM till service time at the funeral home.
