Barbara Day, 82 of Clay passed away Saturday, November 9, 2019 at her residence.

Barbara was born to the late Paul and Maggie Page on January 5, 1937 in Sturgis.

She was a school teacher for 31 years and taught many of those years at Clay Elementary

School.  She was a member of the Webster County Retired Teachers and a member of Black Grove Baptist Church.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her daughter Robin Day and her husband Bobby C. Day.

Survivors include 2 step-daughters Susan McGuigan of Vero Beach, FL and Beverly Bolling of Virginia  2 sisters Sadie Gatten of Sturgis and Kathy Goodson (Steve) of Tell City, IN 1 brother Paul Page (Libby) of Rossville, GA and son-in-law Larry W. Rich of Wheatcroft  3 grandchildren Ryan O'Nan, Tess Rich and Haley Kelley and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 12 at 2:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay with Bro. AY Hodge officiating.  Burial will be in Rocksprings Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday 10:00 AM til service time at the funeral home.
