Bertha "Bert" Hearon, 75, of Hanson, KY passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Ridgewood Terrace Health and Rehab in Madisonville.

Bertha was born in Empire, AL on May 24, 1943.  She was a member at Mt. Gilead General Baptist Church in Slaughters and was a Sunday School teacher for 18 years.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years Bud Hearon   1 daughter Bonnie Evans of Holladay, TN 1 son William Edgar Taylor Koths of Taylor, MI 2 step-daughters Denise Gates (Jeremy) of Twining, MI and Melinda Carey of Lapeer, MI 1 granddaughter Amanda Evans and 1 great-grandson Anderson Dula.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay with Bro. Harry Baldwin and Bro. Steve Dame officiating.  Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery in Clay.  Visitation will be Friday 4:00 PM til 8:00 PM and Saturday 10:00 Am til service time at the funeral home.
