Betty Lee Cowan, 71, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville, IN. She was a law clerk for William E. Mitchell for many years.  She also was a former employee of the Webster County Family Court. She was a member of the Webb Memorial United Methodist Church in Clay, KY. She is survived by her husband of 50 years Larry G. Cowan of Clay, KY 2 Sons Benny Cowan of Clay, KY and Perry Cowan and his wife Holly of Hendersonville, TN 4 Grandchildren Makayla Spindler, Connor, Lillian and Nolan Cowan. Funeral Services will be Saturday, October 31, 2015 at the Webb Memorial United Methodist Church at 11:00 AM with Rev. David Combs and Pastor Brian Small will be officiating.  Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery in Clay, KY.  Visitation will be Friday, October 30, 2015 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home and from 9:00 AM on Saturday til service time at the church. www.vanoverfuneralhome.com
