Betty Heriges, 80 of Mt. Juliet, TN formerly of Clay passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Quality Care Health Center in Lebanon, TN.

Betty was born in Caseyville on March 9, 1940 to the late Rev. Claude Wynn and Hattie Chambliss.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death her husband Jimmy in 2019.

Survivors include 2 sons Jimmy Darrin Heriges (Paula) of Murray and Murray Dennis Heriges (Rose) of Mt. Juliet, TN, 4 sisters Marie Hart of Marion, IL, Shirley McKendree of Morganfield, Catherine Cullotta of Surprise, AZ, and Linda Skaggs (Ken) of Henderson, 4 grandchildren Timmy Heriges (Kristin), Erika Jo Vastola (Stephen), Shelby Lynne Chambers (Miles), Jack Heriges and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, January 29, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay with Pastor Terry Rigsby officiating.   Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery in Clay.  Visitation will be Friday 10:00 AM til service time at the funeral home.
