Billy Puckett, 78 of Clay passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025 at ContinueCARE Hospital at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.

Billy was born in Blackford on May 10, 1946 to the late George and Catherine Odell Puckett.  He was in the United States Navy for 11 years and served 3 tours in Vietnam.  He was coal miner and was employed at Pyro for 27 years.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years Sue, 2 daughters Michelle Donaldson (Mike) of Nebo, Tammy Hunter of Madisonville, brother Kenny Puckett (Brenda) of Clay, 4 grandchildren Danielle Perry (Scotty), Mason Donaldson (Madi), Will Hunter, Sterlin Hunter, 1 great-grandchild Hayden Perry.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by a sister Anna Mae Beabout.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Webb Memorial Community Church in Clay.  Pastor Michael Knight and Brother Jason Buckman will be officiating.  Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery.  Military Honors will be at the gravesite.  Visitation will be Tuesday 10:00 AM till service time at the church.
