Obituary

Bobbie Ray Turner, 77 of Clay passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Henderson Nursing and Rehabilitation in Henderson.

Bobbie was born on April 11, 1942 in Frances, KY to the late Theo Ray and Elizabeth Childress.

She was a licensed beautician and attended Grace Baptist Church in Clay.

Along with her parents Bobbie is preceded in death by a son Raymond "Duney" Turner, Jr. in 2001 and a brother Charles Qualls in 2019.

Survivors include 2 daughters Cindy Brokenshire (Steven) of Paducah and Lori Newcom of Wheatcroft, 2 sons Terry Joe Turner (Stacey) of Dixon and Robert Turner (Vanessa) of Wheatcroft, 2 sisters Emmaline Carter of Eldorado, IL and Josie Posey of Henderson, a brother Jerry Lynch of Owensboro, 9 grandchildren Amanda Turner, Jordan Turner, Joshua Turner, Terry Neil Turner, Steven Turner, Logan Newcom, Aaron Newcom, Travis Turner and Anthony Turner, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday, January 10, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay with Bro. Ronnie Gibson officiating.  Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery in Clay.  Visitation will be Friday 9:00 AM til service time at the funeral home.
