Calvin Earl Newcom, 65, of Clay, KY passed away Friday, October 24, 2014, at his daughter's residence in Sturgis, KY. He worked for C.A. Mac, LLC in Clay, KY. He was an Army veteran. He is preceded in death by his brother Tommy Newcom in 2009. He is survived by 3 daughters Michelle Brown of Dixon, KY, Melody Quillen of Clay, KY, and Misty Sale of Sturgis, KY.  1 Sister Brenda Harris of Clay, KY  3 Brothers John Newcom of Marion, KY, David Newcom of Clay, KY and Bobby Newcom Marion, KY 6 grandchildren and 1 Great-grandchild. Funeral services will be Sunday, October 26, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay, KY with Bro. Larry Williams officiating burial to follow in White Oak Cemetery in Clay, KY. Military rights will be conducted at the grave site. Visitation will be Saturday, October 25, 2014 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home and 9:00 AM Sunday morning til service time at the funeral home.
