Carolyn Ann Dunbar, 86 passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at her home.

Carolyn was born in Providence on June 29, 1936 to the late Clarence and Zella Burton.

She was a member of Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church in Providence and she was the caretaker of Pleasant Valley Cemetery for many years.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Charles Dunbar in 2019.

Survivors include 2 daughters Susan Barnhill (Jim) of Providence and Lynn DeSimone (Travis) of Paris, TN, 1 son Mike Dunbar (Beverly) of Grand Rivers, 7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay with Bro. Johnnie Davis. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Providence.  Visitation will be Saturday at 10:00 AM till service time at the funeral home.
