Charles Huey Cartwright, 77 of Clay passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville.  Charles was born on April 2, 1947 in Sikeston, MO to the late Charles and Virginia Cartwright.  He was a member of VFW Post 5484 in Providence, he was a member of Community Fellowship Church in Clay. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by 1 brother Bert Cartwright and a granddaughter Sierra Powell.

Survivors include his wife of 14 years Peggy, 1 daughter Elizabeth Collins of Henderson, 4 sons Anthony Cartwright, Ross Jordan, Jr.(Christy) of Virginia Beach, VA, Stuart Jordan (Crysta Coble) of Madisonville, Clayton Jordan (Jordan), 3 sisters Elaine Howell(Leroy) of Nelton, FL, Sandy Mooney and Lynda Harrison both of Dixon, 2 brothers John Cartwright of Clay, and Joe Cartwright(Lawanda) of Owensboro, 6 grandchildren Kirstie Lankston, Bryleigh Jordan, Maxton Jordan, Lilly Cunningham, Raylynn Jordan and Emma Jordan.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Community Fellowship Church in Clay at 1:00 PM with Brother Earl Reeves officiating. Burial will be at Wagoner Cemetery in Lynchburg, TN. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM till service time on Tuesday at the church.
