Charles "Poochie" Collins, 71 of Wheatcroft passed away Thursday, March 12, 2026 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Evansville. He was born on December 20, 1954 in Morganfield to the late Robert Earl and Emma Jane Collins. He was a Truck driver for Wright Trucking where he was employed for over 50 years. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Jane in 2016.

Survivors include his son C. W. Collins of Wheatcroft, 1 brother Donnie "Bimbo" Collins of Evansville, 1 nephew Cory Collins(Amanda) of Earlington, great nephew Micah and great niece Mia.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at Oak Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Blackford at 1:00 PM with Pastor Phillip McCoy and Brother Dale Williams officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM till service time at 1:00 PM at the church.

There will be a potluck meal at Oak Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church following the committal service at Oak Grove Cemetery.
