Chester "Cowboy"  Elder, 82, of Providence, KY passed away Friday, December 5, 2014 at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife Robbie Jean in 1982 3 Brothers James, Jackie and Charles Elder and 2 Sisters Annie Mae Elder and Dorothy Hargis. Survivors include 1 Daughter Layla McNeily of Providence, KY 4 Sons Terry Elder and his wife Loretta, Darrin Elder, Kevin Elder and his wife Connie all of Providence, KY Alan Elder and his wife Regina of Clay, KY 1 Sister Rosie Casteel 12 Grandchildren and 7 Great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 8, 2014 at the Second Baptist Church in Providence, KY at 2:00 PM with burial in Lakeview Cemetery in Providence. Visitation will be Monday, December 8, 2014 from 10:00 AM til service time at the Providence Second Baptist Church in Providence, KY.
