Clara "Ruthie" Brown, 79 of Clay passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020 at her residence.

Ruthie was born in Clay on July 20, 1941 to the late Morris Franklin and Mary Francis Puckett.

She was a member of Webb Memorial United Methodist Church in Clay.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years Joe Brown, daughter Mary Elizabeth Thibodeaux (Erich) of Clay, 2 brothers Earl Franklin Puckett (Marilyn) of Louisville and Joe Wayne Puckett (Janet) of Indiana, 3 grandchildren Amberly Brooke Thibodeaux, Victoria Hope Brown and Sarah Elizabeth Mehlhorn.

Graveside services will be Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 12:00 PM at Oddfellows Cemetery in Clay with Pastor Karen Franklin and Pastor Cameron Edwards.  Visitation will be Saturday 10:00 AM til 11:45 AM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay.
