Claude Hopper, 93 of Wheatcroft passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Morganfield Nursing and Rehab in Morganfield.  Claude was born in Uniontown KY on August 29, 1931 to the late Claude Hopper Sr. and Ada May Hopper.  He was a U.S Army Veteran and was in the Korean Conflict. He was a carpenter and built several houses in the area, he owned and operated Hops Grocery in Wheatcroft for several years. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Barbara in 2017.

Survivors include 2 sons Ronnie Hopper (June), Kerry Hopper (Pam) both of Wheatcroft 4 granddaughters Ronna Roberts, Julie Peterson, Hayley Hopper, Kera Bjornerud, and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, September 13, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home with Brother Chris Buckman officiating. Burial will be in New Clay Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM till service time at the funeral home.
