Donald Gordon McCarty, 78, of Greenville, KY passed away Monday, April 15, 2013 at 6:41 PM at Muhlenburg Community Hospital in Greenville, KY. He attended Powderly United Methodist Church in Powderly, KY.  He was also a member of Jachin Masonic Lodge #739 in Clay, KY. He was a drag line operator in the coal mines. He is survived by 1 Daughter-LaDonna Jones of Owensboro, KY 1 Son-Randy McCarty of Greenville, KY and 4 Grandchildren-Ashley Lauren McCarty, Randy Michael McCarty, James Tyler Jones and Logan Asher Jones. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, April 18, 2013 3:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay, KY with Bro.
