Doris Jane Garrett, 82, of Sturgis, KY passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Lucy Smith King Center in Henderson, KY.

Mrs. Garrett was born September 20, 1935 in Wheatcroft, KY to Walter Edward and Maggie Mae Brown.  She was a chartered member of Philadelphia Christian Church in Wheatcroft, KY.  She is preceded in death by the love of her life the Rev. John Claby Garrett in 1989.

Survivors include 1 daughter Johnna Garrett of Sturgis, KY 2 sons Darrell Garrett (Shauna) of Evansville, IN and Sonny Garrett (Angie) of Morganfield, KY 5 grandchildren Kendell Garrett, Darah Jirkovsky, Trent Garrett, Jeremy Garrett and Jason Garrett 8 great-grandchildren Colin Garrett, Chase Garrett, Cade Jirkovsky, Emily Garrett, Dylan Garrett, Maryah Garrett, Harley Humphrey and Jesse Humphrey.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Rock Springs Cemetery in Wheatcroft, KY at 3:30 PM with Bro. Trent Garrett officiating.
