Douglas Wayne Lovan's Obituary
Douglas Wayne Lovan 69, Providence, KY passed away Thursday November 3, 2011 at Regional Medical in Madisonville, KY.
He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, a member of VFW Post#5484 in Providence, KY and member of Jachin Lodge #739 in Clay, KY. He was coal miner at Peabody Coal Company.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years Shelia Lovan of Providence, KY, 1 Daughter Charlotte Hogan of Providence, KY, 4 Sons Dennis Wayne Lovan, James Lovan, and Ryan Lovan all of Clay, KY and Jeremy Powell of Dixon, KY. 4 Sisters Fedelia Cain, Nancy Parker, and Martha Kelley all of Clay, KY and Teresa Thompson of Wheatcroft, KY., 1 Brother Keith Lovan of Evansville, IN 9 Grandchildren and several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday November 6, 2011 2:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay, KY with Bro. Laddie Pride officiating and burial to follow in White Oak Cemetery near Clay, KY where military rites will be conducted.
Visitation will be Saturday 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with Masonic rites to be conducted at 6:00 PM, visitation Sunday 9:00 AM til service time.
Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
