Obituary

Drake Austin Villines, 23 of Clay passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Deaconess Midtown in Evansville.

Drake was born in Henderson on April 7, 1999 to Darren and Kriste Villines.

He graduated from Webster County High School in 2017 and graduated from Murray State University with a Manufacturing Engineering Degree in 2022.  He was recently employed at Lance Brantley/CleanTek Powerwashing and Scott Clark Electric and is presently employed at Sonoco in Henderson.  Drake was saved and baptized at First Baptist Church and later attended White Oak General Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather Chris Villines, aunt Christy Villines Grissom (KK), uncle Greg Puckett and grandparents Leonard and Henrietta Lewis, George and Odell Puckett, Curt and Louise Wilson and Mary Caudill.

Survivors include his parents Darren and Kriste, sister Kennedy Villines (Brendon Thompson) of Clay, grandparents Brenda and Kenny Puckett of Clay, Donna Villines of Providence, uncle and aunt Larry and Desi Puckett and several cousins.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church in Clay with Bro. Corey Rash and Bro. Greg Duncan officiating.  Burial to follow in New Clay Cemetery in Clay.  Visitation will be Friday, August 19, 2022 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at First Baptist Church and 8:00 AM til service time on Saturday at the church.
