Elizabeth Ann Greenfield, 77, of Zionsville, Indiana, previously of Evansville, passed away December 2, 2015. She grew up in Morganfield, KY, and graduated from F.J. Reitz High School in Evansville in 1956. She lived an elaborate life, including living in New York City. She married Fred Greenfield in January 1962 after meeting him at a Belafonte Folk Singers concert. Prior to her retirement in 2003, Ann served as Senior Vice President of Lewis Bakeries Inc. in Evansville, negotiating contracts with labor unions for many years. She previously worked in Personnel at Zenith in Evansville. An avid book collector, Ann loved mysteries and spent much time scouring the local book sales for first editions. She frequented the libraries as well and was a member of the Friends of Willard Library. An animal lover, Ann had many cats and dogs throughout the years (all of them strays). She loved gardening, and taking photos of many of the flowers she grew. She enjoyed vacations at Captiva Island, Florida (she especially loved the shelling), and was a prolific cook and baker, famous for her peanut butter fudge. Christmases at the Greenfields always included a wide variety of homemade cookies and candies. Everyone knew of Ann's love of Christmas and how many Christmas ornaments she collected.
Ann is survived by her husband, Fred Greenfield, her daughter, Brett Holloway, son-in-law Mark Holloway, grandsons Noah and Henry, all of Zionsville, her brother Allen "Butch" Haun of Clay, Kentucky, cousin Donna Bella of Pittsburgh, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Erruphene Haun in 1974, her stepfather Alford Haun in 1977, and her sister Deborah Hill in 2013.
