Emma Lucille Hinton

Emma Lucille Hinton, 91, of Wheatcroft passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at Redbanks Nursing Home in Henderson. Emma was born on September 20, 1934 in Little Dixie, Kentucky to the late Ben and Clara Stone. She is preceded in death by her husband Brackett Hinton, daughter Sherry Cowan, son Charles “Bub” Hinton, granddaughter Donna Oldham, 2 grandsons Jake Lykins, Jeff Hinton, and step-son Jim Hinton.

Survivors include 1 daughter June Hopper of Wheatcroft, 1 son Bob Hinton(Sandy) of Clay, 2 sisters Joy Oldham of Wheatcroft, Mattie Belle Sigler of Morganfield, 8 grandchildren Amy Wright(Chad) Erica Hanner(Kyle), Joseph Hinton(Kim), Robin Tharp(Chris), Brian Hinton, Denise Beach, Michael Fowler, Chris Hinton, several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Vanover Funeral Home at 12:00 PM. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM till service time at 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
