Frank Ray Mitchell, 96 of Clay passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Breckinridge Place in Morganfield.  Frank was born on December 29, 1924 in Clay to the late Charles and Verdie May Mitchell.  Frank was a WWII Navy Veteran. He attended Marion Military Institute in Marion, AL, he also attended Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. He was a farmer and former owner of Mitchell Equipment.  He was also a member of Webb Memorial United Methodist Church in Clay.

Survivors include his wife of 74 years Georgia Mitchell, 1 son Chris Mitchell, 2

granddaughters Sarah Huelsman (Nick) of Louisville, and Christy AL-zubaidi (Ish) of Nashville, TN,  4 great-grandchildren Carter and Caroline Huelsman and Grayson and Aiden AL-zubaidi.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Webb Memorial United Methodist Church in Clay with Bro Cameron Edwards officiating and Vernon Perdue will assist.  Visitation will be from 10:00 AM till service time at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Oddfellows Cemetery Fund, c/o Jessica Mitchell, 750 Oscar Todd Road Clay, KY 42404 or the Webb Memorial Youth Fund, 370 State Route 109 North, Clay, KY 42404.
