Franklin Bruce Heady, 65, of Blackford, KY passed away Monday, March 21, 2016 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville, IN. He was a member of Wheatcroft Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Wheatcroft, KY. He was preceded in death by his brothers Charles Heady in 2015 and Gary Heady and his parents Charles and Alda Heady. He worked at Whirlpool for 40 years. He served as Union Steward and Vice –President of the AFLCIO Local 808 Survivors include his wife of 47 years Nancy Heady of Blackford, KY 2 Daughters Ruthie Miller and Radrena Groves both of Morganfield, KY 2 Sons Ryan Heady of Blackford, KY and Randy heady of Las Vegas, NV1 Sister Adrena Green of Clay, KY 10 Grandchildren and 3 Great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay, KY with Bro. Ronnie Cowan and Al Chancellor officiating.  Burial will be in Blackford Cemetery in Blackford, KY.  Visitation will be Wednesday, March 23, 2016 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay, KY and from 9:00 AM til service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
