Garland Eugene Tilley, 79 of Clay passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at his residence.

Garland was born February 9, 1941 in Boxville to the late Iloff and Eulah Tilley.

He was an Iron worker and member of IW Local 103 in Evansville, IN.  He was an avid hunter and enjoyed breeding and raising coon dogs.  He was also a member of Jachin Lodge #739 in Clay.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death a daughter Mary Ann Tilley Moore and 1 son Gregory Kevin Tilley.

Survivors include 1 daughter Brenda Austin of Madisonville and 1 son Keith Tilley (Sharon Rhodes) of Clay, 5 grandchildren Brittany Austin Hibbs (Blake), Taylor Austin, Haley Tilley, Zachary Tilley (Alysha), Hunter Tilley and 3 great-grandchildren Beckett and Bradlee Hibbs and Bristol Tilley.

Funeral services will Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay Audie Cherry will be officiating.  Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery in Clay.  Visitation will be Saturday 10:00 AM til service time at the funeral home.
