Gary Garrett, 79, of Sullivan, KY passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson, KY.

Gary was born on July 22, 1938 in Sturgis, KY to James and Annie Garrett.  He was a lifetime member and an elder of Mt. Pleasant Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Sullivan, KY.

Preceded in death by his parents James and Annie Garrett and a twin brother Jerry Garrett and 2 other brothers Woody and Henry Garrett.

Survivors include 1 brother Jim Garrett (Ann) of Sturgis, KY 2 aunts Helen Aigner of Winterhaven, FL and Gladys Browning of Sullivan, KY and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Pleasant Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Sullivan, KY with Bro. Dale Williams and Bro. Jr. Martin officiating.  Burial will be in Pythian Ridge Cemetery in Sturgis, KY.  Visitation will be Friday, February 9, 2018 at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay, KY 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM til service time at the church.
