Gay Leigh Hill, 74 of Providence passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2022.

Gay was born in New Castle, PA on July 16, 1948 to the late James and Leonore Elliott.

She was a member of holy Cross Catholic Church in Providence.  She had volunteered with hospice and she was an avid lover of history especially the Civil War Era.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by a daughter Linda Gibson in April of 2022.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years Ronald Hill, 3 daughters Wenona Foe (Joe) of Sacramento,, Amanda Miller (Chad) of Mayfield and Adrienne Hill of Providence, 1 brother James Montgomery Elliott III (Elizabeth), 12 grandchildren Jacob McElvain, Joseph Aaron Foe, Noah Foe, Todd Foe, Andrew Miller, Matthew Miller, Abigail Miller, Joshua Speichinger, Mya Frye, Drake Frye, Isiah Frye, Tristan Gibson and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday, September 5, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Providence with Father David Kennedy officiating.  Burial to follow in White Oak Cemetery in Clay. Visitation will be Monday 10:00 AM til service time at the church.
