Gloria Jean Harris, 83 of Providence passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025 at Ridgeway Terrace in Madisonville.

Jean was born on August 10, 1941 in Shady Grove to the late Rev. Coleman and Bonnie McConnell.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Donald Harris in 1998 and a grandson Keith Varnado.

Survivors include 2 daughters Lisa Green (Barry) of Blackford, Teresa Caruso, (Darrell) of Benton, a sister Paula McConnell of Indianapolis, brother Paul McConnell (Reva) of Madisonville, 2 grandchildren Brant Green (Natalie), Madelyn White (Hayden), 4 great-grandchildren Millie Varnado, Blaine Green, Beckham Green and Liston Green.

Graveside services will be Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Star Hope Cemetery near Providence. Brother Dale Williams will be officiating.

Vanover Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
