Hilda Frances Woodard, 96, of Clay, KY passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Shemwell Nursing Home in Providence, KY.

Hilda was employed with and retired from the Webster County Board of Education.  She worked at Clay Elementary School in the cafeteria as a cook for over 25 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents Tom "Bud" and Anna Lee Shoulders, her husband Clura Woodard, 1 daughter Glenda Faye and 1 great-granddaughter Jamie Sigler.

Survivors include 4 daughters Rebecca Davis (Jr.) of Providence, KY, Edna Wallace (Billy Ray) of Clay, KY Betsy David (Hubert) and Kathy Edwards (Ronny) both of Dixon, KY 1 brother J.B. Shoulders of Farmington, MO  8 grandchildren Debbie Stone, Jeff Davis, Scott Wallace, Jennifer Whitfield, Stacy Adams, Eric Wallace, Shawn Edwards and Chris Edwards and several great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday, May 28, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay, KY with Bro. Earl Reeves officiating.  Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery in Clay, KY.  Visitation will be Sunday, May 27, 2018 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home and from 9:00 AM til service time on Monday at the funeral home.
