Obituary

Jack Dwight McBride, 68 of Clay passed away at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

Jack was born on August 28, 1954 in Providence to the late Lawrence and Alein McBride.

Jack loved his family and enjoyed fishing and camping with them.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by 2 sisters Melva Stone and Delores Childers and 3 brothers John McBride, Lawrence "Bud" McBride and Wayne McBride.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years Janie, 2 daughters Addie Borders of Morganfield and Charity Burton of Madisonville , 1 son Henry Taylor of Madisonville, 3 brothers Larry McBride (Rita) of Dalton, Bill McBride of Evansville, Jim McBride (Emma) of Slaughters, 2 sister-in laws Martha McBride of Clay, Anita McBride of Rockport, IN, brother-in-law Jerry Childers of Dawson Springs, 8 grandchildren Kevin Fuqua (Amber) of Clay, Neal Fuqua (Emily) of Nebo, Johnny Fuqua II (Amber) of Sturgis, Cheyenne Burton (Creighton) of Madisonville, Mallory Burton of Madisonville, David "Skeeter" Taylor of Bowling Green, Beau Smith (Lori) of Madisonville, 4 great-grandchildren Jackson Fuqua, Johnny Fuqua III, Brian Smith, Lilly Smith and 2 more on the way and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay with Bro. Ronnie Gibson officiating.  Visitation will be Tuesday 10:00 AM till service time at the funeral home.
