Jack Springer, 71, of Clay, KY passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY.

Jack was born on August 26, 1945 to Rayburn and Louise Springer.

He was a coal miner for 51 years.  During the 51 years Jack was employed at various coal mines in the area.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years Kathy Springer, 1 son Jack "Butch" Springer, Jr. both of Clay, KY.

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay, KY with Bro. Larry Williams officiating.  Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery in Clay, KY.  Visitation will be Saturday, June 24, 2017 10:00 AM til service time at the funeral home.
