James Matthew McVay 54, of Clay passed away on November 20, 2021 at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.  James was born on March 5, 1967 in Madisonville KY to the late James and Mary Elizabeth McVay.

He was a member of The First United Methodist Church in Providence, he was also a member of My Brothers Keeper Motorcycle Club.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by 2 sisters Delta McVay and Samantha Harmon and 2 brothers Quinton McVay and Marty Zollinger.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years Christie McVay, 2 daughters Destiny and Savannah McVay, 3 sons Trevor McVay (Tess), Dakota McVay, and Todd McVay all of Clay, 2 sisters Nina McVay(Bill) of Providence and Mary Beth Hall(Alan) of Lisman.  3 Grandchildren Ava McVay, Paisley McVay, and Kinslee  McVay.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Vanover Funeral Home at 2:30 PM with Brother Jeff Graham officiating. Burial will be in Lisman Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM till service time on Wednesday.
