James Alton Price (Pappy Jim), 92 of Henderson passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021 at his home.

Jim was born in Palo Pinto, TX on July 13, 1929 to the late Lloyd and Ruby Price.

Jim was a family man. He served as a corporal in the United States Army and was in the Korean War.  While raising his family in Texas he was an owner-operator and he drove a semi cross country for over 50 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife Betty in 2018, a daughter Valene in 2013, and a granddaughter Angela Brown in 2021.

Survivors include 1 son Craig Price (Linda) of Henderson, 3 step-children Steve Brown, Connie Gann and Peggy Janecki, 2 sisters Jean McClure (Pete) of Weatherford, TX and Maxine Lefkowski of Mineral Wells, TX, 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

There will be private services for the family.
