Jeri Stone, 81 of Clay passed away Saturday, January 21, 2023 at her home.

Jeri was born in Blackford on January 20, 1942 to the late J.B. and Elizabeth Farley.

Jeri and William owned and operated Jeris Café in Clay for 9 years.  She was known for her delicious pies and her banana pudding.  She attended Grace Baptist Church in Clay.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years William, 2 daughters Rhonda Echler (Jeff) of Columbus, IN, Gina Godsey (David) of Bedford, IN, 5 grandchildren Jonathon Raney, Jessica Taylor (Josh), Adam Godsey, Ashlyn Godsey, Britan Godsey, 6 great-grandchildren Jaxx Raney, Adalynn Taylor, Coby Godsey, Cain Godsey, Maddison Norman and Oaklynn Godsey.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay with Bro. Ronnie Gibson and Bro. Ron Heady officiating.  Burial will be in New Clay Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday, January 23, 2023 4:00 PM till 7:00 PM and 8:00 AM till service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
