Obituary

Jerry Wayne Durban of Clay, passed away Thursday September 1, 2022 at his home.  Jerry was born in Dixon Kentucky to the late Daniel and Blanch Durban.

Jerry attended The First Baptist Church in Dixon. Jerry was a United States Army Veteran.  He was a coal miner and a truck driver.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years Becky Durban, 1 daughter Lisa Morris(Bobby) of Henderson KY, 4 sons Steven Durban(Jackie) of Morganfield KY, Rodney Durban(Laurel) of Ashville NC, Paul Durban of Henderson KY, and Brian Hinton(Julie) of Clay KY. Grandchildren Josh Hobbs (Trish), Sara Holliman(Anthony), Tyler Durban, Tiffany Willett(Dustin), Olivia Goben (Nate), Clay Durban, Jacob Durban, Cory Durban(Lisa), Cynthia Durban(Travon Washington), Connor Durban(Katelyn Smith), Kassandra Terrell(Dustin) Lexi Hinton(Hunter Wyatt), and Madison Hinton. He also has 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday September 5, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Vanover Funeral Home  with Pastor  Karen Franklin officiating. Military honors will be conducted graveside by Hopkins County Honor Guard. Visitation will be Sunday September 4, 2022 from 3:00 PM till 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home and from 8:00 AM till service time on Monday.
