John Thomas Marks, 88, of Madisonville, KY passed away Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY. He was in United States Air Force Veteran.  He was a member of Webb Memorial United Methodist Church in Clay, KY for over 30 years.  He was a Masonic Order and a Kentucky Colonel.  He was a retired Chief Right of Way Agent for State of Kentucky and past president of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers Association. He is preceded in death by his parents Letcher and Margaret Marks. Survivors include his wife of 67 years Maxeen Marks of Madisonville, KY 1 Daughter Susan Marks of Clay, KY 2 Sons LeMar Marks and Keith Marks both of Madisonville, KY  2 Grandchildren Fowler Marks and Luke Bryan and 3 Great-grandchildren Kylee, Keira and Chloe. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Webb Memorial Methodist Church in Clay, KY at 11:00 AM with Bro. Vernon Perdue, Bro. Jerrod Pomeroy and Bro. Jerry Simpson will be officiating.  Burial will be in New Clay Cemetery in Clay, KY.  Visitation will be Friday, July 8, 2016 at Webb Memorial Methodist Church in Clay, KY 5:00 PM-8:00 PM and from 9:00 AM til service time on Saturday.
