John Paul Young, 79 of Providence passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023 at his residence.

John Paul was born on September 30, 1944 in Madisonville to John Thomas Young and Mary Hayze Young.

He was a member of Liberty Praise Chapel in Providence.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by a sister Judene Young.

Survivors include 3 daughters Loretta Davis of Henderson, Paula Young and Robin Young both of Madisonville,2 sons John T. Young of Madisonville, Pete Young of Evansville, 2 sisters Evelyn Tapp of Clay, Connie Offett of Lexington, caregiver Wilma Denise Young of Henderson and several grandchildren.

There will be no services at this time.

Vanover Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
