Kenneth Ray Moore, of Clay KY passed away Tuesday August 24, 2021 at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh. He was born on September 16, 1949 to the late Garnett and Marie Moore.  He was a Truck driver for over 40 years and has worked for Mercer Transportation for 15 years, he also was the Associate Pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Clay.  Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his son Kevin and a sister Ramona Fireline.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years Phylis Moore, 1 daughter Penny Moore( Mike McDowell).  2 sisters Patty Simpson of Clay and Carol Moore of Madisonville.  3 brothers Jerry Denton(Betty) of Wisconsin,  Garnett Moore(Nancy) and Wes Moore both of Madisonville.  2 Grandchildren Jacob Gibson (Linda) and Cody Gibson (Elizabeth) and 5 step- grandchildren.  Funeral services will be Friday, August 27, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay with Brother Ronnie Gibson Officiating.  Burial to follow in White Oak Cemetery.   Visitation will be from 9:00 AM till service time.
