Kenneth Lee Newman, 65, of Clay, KY passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Methodist Hospital in Henderson, KY. He was a 1968 graduate of Webster County High School.  He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.  He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time with friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Melvin and Chiquita Newman 1 Brother Phillip Newman and 1 Step-daughter Teresa Stone. Survivors include his wife of 34 years Lasca Newman, 3 Sisters Lovica Newman of Clay, KY Vanessa Schmitt of Clay, KY and Yolanda Duncan of Dixon, KY. Caregiver Charley Farley of Morganfield, KY Several grandchildren and Great-grandchildren nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay, KY. Mike Baker will be officiating. Military Rites will also be conducted.  Burial will be at a later date.  Visitation will be Saturday, September 12, 2015 from 10:00 AM til service time at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay.
