Kerry Edward Ray, 68 of Clay passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024 at his home.

Kerry wans born on March 3, 1955 in Providence to the late Raymond and Betty Ray. He was in the United States Marines and in the United States Navy. He was a Vietnam War Veteran. He was the Chief Engineer on an oil pipe laying vessel.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter Crystal Lurks.

Survivors include his wife of 31 years Debbie, daughters Christina Menser(Johnny) of Nebo, Tiffany McKearn of Lugoff, SC, Rhonda McQuay(Melvin) of Augusta, GA, Mellisa Ogle(Caleb) of Lugoff, SC, Alyhia Castro of Haubstadt, IN, 2 sons Aaron Ray (Crystal) of Evansville, IN, Anthony Anderson Jr. of Lugoff, SC, sister Janet Cole of Sebree, brothers P. Laine Ray(Jo Whitsell) of Clay, Chris Ray(Sonya) of Owensboro, Troy Ray(Erika) of Newburg, IN, 23 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 1:00pm on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at New Clay Cemetery in Clay with Brother Ronnie Gibson officiating.
