Kimberly Diann Snider, 49, of Clay, KY passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones, at Midtown Deaconess in Evansville, IN on Saturday June 20, 2026.
Kimberly was born on November 2, 1976 at Union County Hospital in Morganfield, KY to Earl and Shelia Gamblin. Kim spent her life bringing joy and laughter to those around her with her humor and southern sayings. She was always there for those she loved. Whether it was a friend to talk to, a place to stay or a ride home, she was the person others could depend on. Kim was often referred to as the glue that held everyone together. She was a caretaker at heart, spending much of her adult life as a COTA, working in numerous nursing homes across western Kentucky where she made a positive impact on her residents’ and coworkers’ lives.
Kim loved her family, never missing a reason to celebrate or gather together. However, most of all, she loved her son, Corey Lee Snider. She was so proud of him and was honored to be his mother every day of her life, referring to him often as her biggest blessing.
Kim loved the Lord, growing up in New Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church where she remained a member and then found a wonderful church family at First Baptist Church of Clay later in her adult life.
Kim was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ray, whom she spent 24 years with before his passing in 2024.
Kim is survived by her son, Corey Snider of Clay, KY and stepson, Brian Snider of Clay, KY. Parents, Earl and Shelia Gamblin of Clay, KY. Two sisters, Sherri (Troy) Grant of Clay, KY and Karen (Scott) Shoulders of Sebree, KY. Also, she is survived by 3 nephews Trevor (Sahara) Shoulders, Zachary (Haley) Shoulders and Lukas Grant (fiance Amanda), and 3 nieces Lauren (Jordan) Davis, Lindsey (Logan) Edwards, and Sydney Shoulders, 7 great nieces (Amelia Davis, Blaire Shoulders, Collins Davis, Caroline Shoulders, Marley Edwards, Josephine Shoulders, Evangeline Shoulders) and 1 great nephew (Oliver Edwards), all of whom she loved so very much.
