Linda Christine Brown, 97 of Dixon passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Shemwell Nursing Home in Providence.  Christine was born on November 21, 1928 in Providence to the late Walter and Mamie Dorris. She is preceded in death by her husband Harold Brown in 2021 and her daughter Linda Bryant in 2024.

Christine was a member of Fairview Church of Christ in Dixon.

Survivors include a son Danny Brown (Diana) of Dixon; sisters Delores Overby (Jim) of Providence, Barbara Brown of Providence; brother Leslie Dorris (Brenda) of ST. Augustine, FL; granddaughters Jaime Lee (Tad) of Clarksville, Connie Black (David) of Columbia, SC; grandsons Chad Brown (Melissa) of Dixon, Mark Bryant of Winder, GA, and a son-in-law Melton Bryant of Versailles, KY.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Fairview Cemetery in Dixon with Brother Albert Hadlock officiating.

Vanover Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
