Linda Lee Vaughn, 81, of Clay passed away Friday, October 25, 2024 at Deaconess Midtown in Evansville.  Linda was born on July 20, 1943 in Marion, KY to the late Lee and Ruby Hill. She worked at Hearon's Grocery store in Clay and was a caregiver for several people in the Webster County area. She was a member of White Oak General Baptist Church.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Janie Vaughn in 2004, niece Linda Gibson in 2021 and brother Ronald Hill in 2024.

Survivors include, 3 nieces Wenona Foe (Joe) of Sacramento, Amanda Miller (Chad) of Mayfield, Adrienne Hill of Providence and several great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay at 1:00 PM with Brother Greg Duncan officiating. Burial to follow in White Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM till service time at the funeral home.
