Mable Claire Dacy, 79 of Providence passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson.

Mable was born in White Plains on April 2, 1943 to the late Everette Guy and Agnes Odell Madden.  She was a member of Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church in Providence.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her son-in-law Rodney Dacy in 2017.

Survivors include her husband of 22 years Max Dacy, 2 daughters Annette Woodring (Cletis), Dana Dacy both of Dixon, a son Greg Durbin (Jessica) of Henderson, a sister Charlotte Artz of Dayton, OH, 2 brothers Milton Madden (Judy) of Clay, Larry Madden (Robbie) of Dixon, 10 grandchildren Matthew Woodring (Stephanie), Alan Woodring (Jordan), Christina Whitsell (Scott), Samantha Dacy, Daniel Dacy (Danielle), Walker Durbin, Alexis Durbin, Gia Durbin, Ayla Durbin, Mason Snyder and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday, February 20, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church in Providence with Bro. Johnnie Davis and Bro. Ralph Alexander officiating.  Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Dixon.  Visitation will be Sunday, February 19, 2023 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay and 9:00 AM till service time at the church on Monday.
