Mamie Kathleen Collins, 90, of Clay, KY passed away Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY. She was a homemaker. She was a longtime member of Blackford Missionary Baptist Church where she enjoyed teaching Sunday school and bible school. She also enjoyed sewing and loved children. She is survived by her husband of 72 years V. Max Collins of Clay, KY 1 Daughter Brenda Jessup and her husband David of Madisonville, KY 1 Brother Russell Waide of Marion, IL 1 Granddaughter Heather Taliaferro of Dawson Springs, KY 1 Great-grandchild Blayne Taliaferro of Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral services will Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay, KY with Bro. Dennis Williams officiating and Bro. Jake Brantley assisting.  Burial to follow in Oddfellows Cemetery in Clay, KY.  Visitation will be Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 5:00 PM til 8:00 PM and from 10:00 AM til service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Blackford Baptist Church.
