Mary Jane Chancellor, 68, of Clay, KY passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson, KY.

Mary Jane was born on May 10, 1950 to the late Leander and Mayme Bruner in Cloverport, KY.  She was a member of First General Baptist Church in Clay.  Mary Jane was very active in the Clay PTA at Clay Elementary School and was also in charge of the Clay City Park for several years.

She is preceded in death by 1 brother Griffen Bruner.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years Al Chancellor 1 daughter Jenni Sauls (Benny) of Henderson 1 Son Bert Chancellor (Jenni) of Loma Linda, CA 1 sister Amelia Carpenter (Francis) of Versallies, KY 5 grandchildren Trey Chancellor, Joe Chancellor, Andrew Sauls, Jacob Sauls, and Emi Chancellor.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 1:00 PM at First General Baptist Church in Clay with Bro. Johnny Hibbs officiating.  Burial will be in New Clay Cemetery in Clay.  Visitation will be Tuesday, July 31, 2018 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay and Wednesday 9:00 AM til service time at the church.
