V. Max Collins, 93, of Clay, KY passed away Friday, June 24, 2016 at Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson, KY. He was a farmer. He attended Blackford Baptist Church in Blackford, KY. He was a Kentucky Colonel.  He was also on the Webster County Ambulance Board and the Board of Directors for West KY Bank in Clay, KY He was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen Collins in 2015. He is survived by his daughter Brenda Jessup and her husband David of Madisonville, KY 1 Granddaughter Heather Taliaferro of Dawson Springs, KY and 1 Great-grandson Blayne Taliaferro. Funeral services will be Sunday June 26, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay, KY with Bro. Jake Brantley and Bro. Dennis Williams officiating.  Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery in Clay, KY.  Visitation will be Saturday, June 25, 2016 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay, KY and from 9:00 AM til service time on Sunday.
