Michael "Zeke" Carter, 63 of Clay passed away Friday, September 3, 2021 at Madisonville Health and Rehab in Madisonville.

Michael was born June 18, 1958 in Fort Leonard Wood, MO to the late Kenneth and Wilma Carter.  He was a heavy equipment operator.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Ruby in 2018.

Survivors include step-mother Shirley Carter of Success, MO, 1 daughter Jennifer Watkins(John) of Greenville, 4 sisters Darlene Franklin of Providence, Peggy Burgess of Success, MO, Tammy Rogers of Houston, MO and Rita Smith of Hendersonville, TN, 2 brothers Bruce Carter (Connie) of Oregon and Dennis Carter (Julie) of Oregon, 1 granddaughter Lexie Watkins.

Memorial service will be at a later date.

Vanover Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
